Alligator pickups are designed with Alnico 5 magnets according to 60’s specs of Jazz Bass pickups. They have extremely defined bottom end, solid mids while the highs  are brilliant and clear. Alligator pickups have aggressive tone with lots of dynamics and a wide frequency range when blended together.

Alligator Underwound pickups follow the specs of the standard Alligator version but with more clarity and definition in the highs while the bass response remains big and strong.
